I teach NRA basic pistol classes.

The class consists of approximately 4 hours of in-classroom training, followed by approximately 4 hours at the range for a pistol qualification exercise. Lunch will be provided.

This is a hands-on class where you will learn the parts of a firearm, how to clear malfunctions, sight alignment, sight picture, and how to look down your sights. You will learn how to clean your pistol and general care and much much more.

You will need to bring your own firearm to the class. I will not supply any firearms or ammunition. You will need to supply your own ammunition and ear and eye protection. You will need at least 100 rounds of ammunition.

For safety purposes, there will be no live ammunition or firearms in the classroom. Firearms and ammunition will need to stay in your vehicle until after the classroom portion.

The class begins at 8:00 am on the scheduled third Saturday of the month, and is usually over between 3 and 4pm.

You will need to supply your own ammunition and ear and eye protection. You will need at least 100 rounds of ammunition.

This class will give you confidence that you can use your firearm safely.

The price includes my time and materials for the class. This includes two books, and the approximately 8 hours of hands-on training, as well as a certificate from the NRA.
